Volunteer Partners
Partners of Spooner Health System is the foundation of volunteering programs at SHS. The many volunteers and members of SHS Partner’s organization make an important contribution to Spooner Health System’s patients and residents.
 
Becoming a volunteer at Spooner Health System is a great way to share your compassion and talents with others. In addition to the many hours of service donated each year, Partners also donates funds to benefit health system services and equipment needs.   Annual scholarships are awarded to high school seniors entering the field of healthcare. Our volunteers also are active advocates on behalf of healthcare issues.
 
Examples of Partners fundraising projects include the annual garage sale, summer pie and ice cream social, bake sales, and Lovelight Tree. The Gift Kiosk administered by Partner volunteers has been a successful addition to the organization. Many employees and visitors enjoy shopping at the Kiosk.
 
Volunteers also provide hands-on service to patients and residents through their time and talents. Our volunteers will be seen delivering mail, greeting visitors at the Gift Kiosk, providing hair care, assisting with nursing home activities, just to name a few areas of volunteerism at SHS.
 
Whether you have a lot of time or a little, there is a place for you at Spooner Health System. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in healthcare and serving.
 
Partners of Spooner Health System is a member of Partners of Wisconsin Association, an affiliate of Wisconsin Hospital Association.
